The Purpose in Your Pain: The Butterfly Emerges After the Battle
Available on Kindle & Paperback
Can Purpose really be found in one’s pain? For the beautiful butterfly to emerge, the caterpillar has to first be broken. Horrible things happen in the school of life, but when the trial is over. We tend to look back and see the purpose in the pain. Growth, stronger faith in God, and a testimony are just some of the things that are birthed through the mess.
Shannon uses her life story to show the reader that our pain has a purpose beyond our human comprehension. Some lessons can only be learned by suffering, and some parts of our purpose can only be found after the pain. For the flying to take place, the gruesome process of metamorphosis must happen and though our trials are gut-wrenching, the end results is somehow always glorious when we put our life in the hands of the creator.

This One's For Me: A Weekly Self-Care Journal
Available in Paperback Only
Self-care is essentially the intentional process of taking care of yourself. As women, we use this term loosely but fail in it’s application, taking care of everyone but ourselves. Your body is a temple; therefore, I implore you to be more intentional in taking care of it because you are the most important project you will ever work on. I am proud of you for embarking on this journey. Sis, this one is for you.

The Discovery of Me:
A Journey of Becoming
Available on Kindle and Paperback
When we remove ourselves from certain environments or situations, we are often left with the survivor version of ourselves—the thought processes, the attitudes and the defense mechanisms to protect our hearts and minds. However, if we allow God to dig deep enough, we will be amazed at what we find. Sis, it is possible that who you are now is a fraction of who God has called you to be. There is more, and it’s time to rediscover yourself.
